Clyne a January option for Barcelona
Barcelona's search for right-back competition for Sergi Roberto could lead them to Liverpool's Nathaniel Clyne, according to reports in England.
Although the academy product has shone since his move to full-back, Aleix Vidal's troubles since arriving at the Camp Nou have been well documented, and could result in the versatile wideman leaving the club during January.
It seems almost certain that, as both Javier Mascherano and Rafinha have been used ahead of Vidal on occasion - with varying success - Blaugrana chiefs will target another right-back during the winter window.
The Sun reports that Liverpool's Clyne, 25, may be the man they turn to given his impressive early season form for Jurgen Klopp's upwardly mobile side.
A figure of 22 million euros has been suggested for the England international, who joined the Reds for a fee of around 17 million euros in 2015.
Another option is former La Masia star Hector Bellerin of Arsenal however, as is also the case with Clyne, it may well prove difficult to snare top talent midway through the season.
